Stabilizing the camera with a stand or tripod

- When it comes to shooting a virtual tour, you're going to need to put the camera somewhere and the camera needs to be able to freely stand. Often times with virtual tours, you the photographer aren't in the shot. You need to actually move out of the frame so you don't get captured in the VR tour. And if you're shooting 180 degrees, this might mean moving to another room. So one popular option is the selfie stick. However, a normal selfie stick won't work. - So a selfie stick, you want to make sure that you have legs or a mini tripod that actually goes in the bottom of it so that way, it'll stand steady. - But the drawback is, that the selfie stick may not be super stable, articulately if shooting outdoors with wind.
