- In the knowledge economy, ideas are the new currency. But we need to package these ideas into stories so we can share them with others. How do we package ideas into stories? Of course, there are endless ways. But here are a few tips. The first one is the shorter, the better. No one ever complained about a movie or a book being too short. Another rule is don't be obvious. In video, if you're showing something, you don't need to explain what that is. Everybody knows because they are seeing it. But also explain what's not obvious. Let's assume I'm shooting a project about a chef. And he is preparing this amazing salad. So when I show you the salad, I don't need to say, "This is a salad." Everybody knows what a salad looks like.
