- We're all creatives so a lot of people think we're pretty challenging people to deal with, and maybe we are. But we also have to deal with challenging people to be successful in delivering our projects. I've found in my work that there are five different kinds of challenging people to work with. And I have some tips for you in working with each one of them. There are non-deciders, group thinkers, people with other agendas, big personalities, and inexperienced leaders. Let's start with the non-deciders. This is a very tough group. They're totally risk-averse. They don't want to make a decision cuz they're afraid of what would happen next. It's really important when you're working with them to provide a mission and outcome-driven process so they can just kinda follow along and you understand that each step of the way they're making a decision that is consistent with their mission in their own job the mission of the organization and that the process leads to the right result.
