- Managing teams as you grow is a really important feature of your freelance life. And one of the things I've noticed is that when designers can share a space or editors can share a space, they can also share a workload. I know a couple of editors who tag team with each other on long projects or series, or sometimes if the time has shifted in the schedule, and now that editor's booked on something, they have someone who can jump in, knows their system. They meta tag everything the same way. They have the same kind of philosophy of editing. It's very seamless to the client. They of course tell the client that they have somebody who does this with them. And it makes it much better in terms of delivering the projects on time, keeping the workflow going, but they're basically managing another partner, so to speak, in the process.
