Test exported files
- We touched on testing files, and I can't emphasize enough the importance of this, especially when you're delivering transmedia content that's gonna be seen on different platforms and surfaces. Test, test, test, it might take an hour or two of your time upfront to shoot some test files and see how they're gonna look, but trust me, it is gonna be worth it. We do it all the time, especially for live events. And if you don't test things like your color space, especially for big graphics, or your audio feed, you're gonna end up with a very disappointed audience or maybe one who just moves on to the next piece of content. On a recent shoot, we actually ingested each interview and then checked them, and one of the reasons you do this is you might want to make some adjustments.
