Understanding the status strip

- As you're working, you don't always need to go into the menu to make a change. The status strip on most of the cameras, whether it's on the side LCD panel or the rear LCD panel, is also quite functional. Often by just tapping the control that you're interested in or the display for that particular field, it will bring up controls that you can adjust. Let's have a look. So I open this up and you can see the control strips here. So for example, if I tap the display options, I can easily go in and quickly turn on options here for seeing things like false color. And we can adjust that. Or we can go on in and be able to see other choices here. So let's go ahead and turn false color off, but turn focus peaking on and the ability here to check and balance. Notice how all of those controls were right there without the need to go into a menu. Tap the frame rate, same thing. I could adjust the frame rate. Go in and we can adjust other choices here for shutter angle. One quick tap and I can…
