- So much of social content is real people communicating about real brands. After all, telling a brand's story within the construct of real or corporate life is the basis of social media marketing, but sometimes content strategy calls for good old-fashioned filmmaking to tell the story: scripts, actors, directors, and sets. The whole bit. Narrative scenes are a great idea when you want to tell a specific story and set a specific tone. They allow you to outline the story, design plot points, and create engaging characters. Narratives let you create conflict, characters that change, interesting dialogue, and lessons imparted on the audience all contained within a story arc with a beginning, middle, and end.
