doing a little walk cycle. What I'm going to do now is open up this composition The first thing I need is something an X value and a Y value. So I'll call it controller. What I'm going to do is create a slider that only controls the X value of positions so we don't have to worry about the Y value. To do that, I'm going to add expression controls slider control and I'm going to call it character X position. And then I'm going to add an expression to my position value. Now you'll notice that when I do that I lose the expression controller. So I'm going to select controller again and just lock that so that it doesn't disappear when I select this layer. from the slider property. So basically, I've now got this slider controlling the X and the Y position which is not what I want 'cause then I get diagonal movement like that. So what I need to do is separate this. I've already got the variable temp in there, I'm going to replace that with X. and then what I'm going to do is replace the word…
