Using Adobe Prelude to transfer data

- If you're Adobe Creative Cloud customer, someone using Premiere Pro or After Effects, there's a great utility called Prelude. It's designed to allow you to do basic edits, as well as organizing media onset or back at the desk. But one of the things I like about it the most, is that it's fantastic at archiving media. You can choose a source such as a removable memory card and target multiple drives. And much more than a simple copy, it actually will verify the data. If you're a Creative Cloud customer, you already own this. So let me show you how to use it. Now I've already made a project for the client. And I'll switch to the Ingest workspace. This allows me to choose a location. You'll notice that anything attached to your system appears. You can now select all the folders if you'd like or step in and find just the media. It should analyze the card and show you the clips that are on it. Let's click Check All to select the media. And if you want, you can make these previews bigger…
