Using SSDs with digital film and production cameras

- If you're looking for some of the fastest storage media out there, the use of SSDs has become quite popular. You could take the SSDs directly from the camera and often plug them into the computer, and even start editing or quickly transfer the files. Now the use of SSDs is going to vary from Blackmagic cameras, and only the newest model cameras tend to support them. If you are using the Ursa camera, you'll need to get an optional adapter that attaches to the back of the camera. That will allow you to mount an SSD directly. This will allow you to record to these. And another benefit of the SSDs is that the file capacity can often be significantly larger. Plus the cost points are often a bit more reasonable compared to memory cards. If we are using the pocket cinema camera, it's an interesting way to attach. On the side of the camera here, we actually have a USB port. And using a small USBC or Thunderbolt 3 cable, but it's using the USBC protocol, you can go ahead and connect that…
