- Earlier we explored some of the concerns folks have over YouTube, and, I realize, that you might not want to put all of your content on YouTube. In fact, we sometimes decide to put some of our more premium content, the content where we're concerned about our intellectual property rights onto Vimeo instead, which has a much clearer policy. Remember, with Vimeo, you're paying for the service. As such, you retain many more rights as a content creator. Vimeo is also quite effective at getting into the living rooms. Not as broad as YouTube, but it is usually available at the same time. With Vimeo, what you're going to look at is the streaming content options. Remember, this will still count against your total views. So it's important that you keep an eye on your Vimeo account and make sure that you're prepared to pay for the bandwidth.
