From the course: Video Data Management on Set and in the Field

Using the exercise files

- If your membership includes it, I've put together a small collection of exercise files as well as a few sample documents that you can look at. During today's course, we're going to actually do a short, three camera interview, and I'll give you some of that media so you can play with it. Now, this is not going to be everything from the shoot, but I want you to have some practice. So, if you're going to be working with a memory card or you're going to be needing to ingest material, you have some experience. Of course, you can also just download the templates that we give you and pull some memory cards from your own shoot, not a big deal. In any case, though, I want you to get hands on with these techniques. Ideally, you're going to practice this before you get on set, don't try to figure out a new software solution or change your workflow in front of a client or with a lot of crew people standing around. So, if you can get access to those hands on files or grab some of your own memory cards from a recent shoot, do so, and when we get into the software section of this class, and we're exploring specific tools, feel free to follow along.
