Using project management effectively
- While the exact process that you take for project management will vary from industry to industry, there are some core concepts that should work. The first is, you need to develop the concept. This is where you define what you think is going to happen. The project manager is then selected. Once that project manager is identified, they need to think about the resources that they need, both people and facility or equipment. It's important to define the goals and get the client to sign off on it. And then, the project manager creates a work breakdown structure, which is something we'll talk about more later. This might be a sitemap for a website, or a key list of the different components that have to be done for a creative project to succeed.
