Using a tablet

- If you're going to be moving around a lot, a tablet can come in handy on set. Both for data management and for collection of data. Here's what I mean. In this case I've got a Microsoft Surface, works quite well. This type of product actually can support a full USB card slot. Which means that I could put in a card reader, like I did here. This'll make it easy. I'm using a simple memory card reader here from Hoodman, but I could put a SD card or a MicroSD card in. This opens up all sorts of footage types. Then using something like Premier Pro, I could actually browse through that footage, double click on a clip right off the card and load it and simply play that material back right on the canvas. This is useful, because you also have the ability to take a look at things like Scopes. And easily review what happened. This allows me to take a look at what's going on, with the clip.
