- Hey Rich, I got one of those things that if you throw a baseball at it, I go into the dunk tank. - Oh okay. (laughs) - No, it's a turn table, Rob, but not the type you might be thinking of. It doesn't play records, for those of you old enough to know what a record is. - Right. For product shots, sometimes you want to see not just one angle of it. And often times it can be kind of a pain to reposition the object continuously, to reposition the camera around your setup, so a turntable is often a good choice for products. And what the turntable's going to allow you to do, as it's name implies, is turn the product around. - And these really come in two main varieties. One that's motorized, and one that's not. Now of course there's different price points within there. You might use a non-motorized one, just so you can reach over and turn the device to reposition the object, so you can see it from different angles.
