- Picking a light fixture in your budget used to be pretty simple. But it sure isn't anymore. And to me, that's a good thing. Having more options means we can find the right light for the job, get great results, and possibly make it easier and more affordable. Hi, I'm Erik Naso. In this course, I'll show a lot of different types of lighting fixtures, from good old dependable tungsten, to LED and fluorescent. We even have flexible LED panels that can be rolled up or taped to a wall. How cool is that? I'll show you what works best for interviews in small and large rooms. Plus, break down the actual fixtures, so you have a solid understanding of the strengths and options available. Did you know you can get lights that have variable color temperatures to match indoor or outdoor lighting? Some lights can even work off batteries too. Oh, and let's not forget all the great modifiers that we can use to soften and shape the light. Okay, put some shades on, because it's going to get bright in here.
