What are cinemagraphs useful for
- Hi, I'm Robbie Carman. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And welcome back to another episode of corporate video weekly. And Rich, this week we're continuing our look at kind of enhancing social media sites with cool imagery, things like profile videos and stuff like that and this week we want to talk about something that I've gotten really into in the past couple months, mainly because of you. - Because you're so into it - Sure, yeah. - And that is the idea of cinemagraphs. What is a cinemagraph? - Well, cinemagraphs and plotagraphs are very similar types of media and essentially it's the fusion of video and photos. In the case, of a cinemagraph, it's going to be a video file where you freeze most of the video - Okay. - but leave something moving. Maybe it's a flag blowing in the wind. - Gotcha, okay. - And in the case of a plotagraph, it's a still photo that you then mask away parts of the image - Okay. - and animate other parts, so things like water can look like it's rippling or smoke…
