When to pull the plug on location
- Okay, so there are times when you go onto a location, and essentially what has happened is the client has given you a space that's just not going to work. And what I mean by that is, let's say you have an hour set up and you've got your camera up, you've got your three lights up, and you're looking at the shot and it's just not right. It's just not what the client needs. It's not what your boss needs. It doesn't work. So, a lot of times what you have to do is you have to pull the plug on the shoot. That is to say that you're not going to quit, you're not going to not shoot something, you're just going to alter it, and what I mean by that is, you're going to create the background yourself. Now, this bag here, which is just from a surplus store, duffle bag, I've used for years and this is my kind of safety go-to bag. It always lives on my truck.
