Who are you talking to?

- Video is all about communication, and you have to really think about who are you talking to. Who are you communicating this video content, this information to. That's going to dictate your entire content strategy. So I think there's two main things that we really need to think about here. What is your niche? What is your area of focus? What are you a subject matter expert in? What is it that matters to you and this is usually dictated by your business goals if we're talking about marketing. You also have to think about who the target audience is who aligns with that. I'll use myself as an example here. There's a lot of things that I'm either good at or knowledgeable at, but I decided to focus specifically on a singular mission and to narrow my niche to creative entrepreneurship because creative people matter to me, entrepreneurship matters to me, and I want to empower creative people so their not starving artists.
