Why is there buzz in my audio?
- Hey there, I'm Robert Carmen. - And I'm Rich Harrington. - And Rich, this week I want to discuss something that can be mildly annoying but in some cases - Buzz. Buzz. - be catastrophic to your production and that is, as you just said... - Buzz. - Buzz, right. So buzz, or noisy audio, can be like I said annoying but in the worst case it can actually really do damage to a production because you know, they always say that audio is half the picture. - And if that half of the picture is unintelligible or gives you a headache while listening to it it's a pretty bad half. - Absolutely, so this week we're going to explore a few different ways of reducing hum or buzz in your audio. We're going to start by giving you a couple of different methods that you can employ on set. - Yeah, I'm a big fan of fixing it in the field.
