Why scripting your screencast may be the wrong choice

- When I talk to people who want to get into screen casting, there's a lot of anxiety over script writing. Folks want to be prepared and they want to make sure that they don't miss things but, not everybody benefits from a script. Now, taking the time to master your content, to figure everything out is a really good idea. But, a lot of folks have great difficulty reading a script and sounding natural. They may sound like this as they're trying to follow the teleprompter software and go too quickly or slowly because they're struggling. Particularly if you're using something like a voice activated teleprompter. So it's very difficult to sound natural. Now you're saying, I watch the evening news and they're great at it. They have degrees in this with years of experience. I actually have a degree in this. I got a degree in broadcast news. I've been trained on how to read a teleprompter and have years of experience.
