- Right now we're at a very comfortable f8. Just about any budget lens, even kit lens has this aperture. It's great for things like interviews or standard sort of video shooting. - Yeah, it's a good compromise between getting things in focus and managing background blur. It's going to give you, take that edge of a little bit from stopping down even further. Like the example we showed before at crazy f22 where we had no shallow depth of field at all. The thing about this Rich is that f8 is a very manageable depth of field. It's very good in terms of a mid-point in the exposure triangle. But for aesthetic reasons, but also for light gathering reasons, sometimes you're going to want to have a faster aperture. The beauty part about that is the background blur and the out-of-focus areas that that creates. The difficult part about that is managing focus, especially when objects are moving. - In this case, we're using a lens that does support auto-focus. - Right. - I'm going to put that on…
