Working with nodes
- [Instructor] So how do nodes work? Let's take a closer look. I start by opening up a project. File, Open Project. I'll go into the 1-Basics folders. And start with 1-3. I have to go into that folder, then select the project.sfx file. Open up that, and there's the project. And this one has two nodes. So what are nodes? You can think of a node as a discrete algorithm that carries out a very particular function. Nodes get connected together into trees. So here there's one connection between the footage node and the output node. And this connection line is called a wire. And you can wire these nodes together yourself. In fact, let's add two new nodes and see how that works. I'll go down to the Nodes panel and let's start with the filter category. Now I'll add a blur. Click + drag that and drop it into this work area. When you add node this way, it's not connected. That's okay, we can make our own connections.…
