- All right, it is time to start writing. Now, hopefully you're feeling pretty good about things. Between your story skeleton that you did and your outline you've got a real strong roadmap hopefully and you're feeling good about it. And now it's just a question of getting the words onto the page. Now, the important thing is to not get overwhelmed. Remember, a screenplay is just a series of scenes. So take it scene by scene. Don't worry about, you know, don't be worrying about the last scene when you're starting to write on the first scene. Just take it scene by scene. Now, the workflow you're going to use, your particular style of writing and how you do it best, it's really going to be up to you to decide. No two people have exactly the same method of writing.
