The standard life cycle of a project
- While every project is unique, there is a standard lifecycle that I'd like to share with you. Every job you tackle really goes through these same stages. First, you start. The project is initiated. Somebody hires you, or expresses an interest in hiring you. The very first thing you need to do is set the objectives. This is where you define what has to happen in order for the project to succeed. Once you've done this, you need to gather information. This might be research, or collecting footage or assets, or working with different people to put the script together. Getting all of the pieces and information that you need pulled together effectively. Once you've done that, you can really compare the progress of the work versus the targets.
