- [Instructor] In this tip, I will examine the document tab, overflow UI. I'll review how it works and share some techniques for activating it with keyboard shortcuts. First step is to look at where this UI lives in the Visual Studio interface. In the center of the screen is the document editor, at the top of the document editor, are tabs that show the name of this file and it also allows me to switch to all the other open files so I can click on another tab and move to that file. This is called the tab well and at the far right of the tab well, is this button with a triangle on it. This is the UI I'm talking about, the official name, I believe is, file tab channel. It's often called the document tab overflow because as you open additional documents, all the tabs won't fit in the tab well, so they overflow into this menu. You can get a clue on whether you can see all the tabs or not, by looking at the top of this, but I'll make solution explorer wider, which will mean one of the tabs…
