Use Window Layout to save or reset tool window positions
- If you ever need a reset of your tool windows, you'll be grateful for the Window's Layout Menu. It's here in the Window menu, in this section. Save, apply, manage, and reset. Here's a scenario I used earlier in the course. I was editing some code, I decided I wanted to see more of my code on the screen so I went up to the Window menu and I chose Auto Hide All. All my docked windows are automatically hidden. After 20 minutes of writing my code, I want to go back to my original layout. So I go back to the Window menu and there's no show the Auto Hidden Windows. Instead, I have to go and do something like this. Where I'd go to the Solution Explorer and un-auto hide it. Now in a complex scenario, I might have multiple windows and that would take some time to get to my original position. So let's look at a couple of the items in the layout menu.
