- Hello I'm Lauren Bacon. Welcome to Collaborative Design, Process, and Efficiency. This course is aimed at web designers, project managers, and other creative professionals who want to collaborate more effectively with clients and colleagues on design projects. I'll start by sharing my hard earned lessons about coordinating teams, both large and small, with an eye to producing outstanding results while working efficiently. Next, we'll discuss the importance of setting clear expectations at the outset, reinforcing them along the way, and gathering design input from a diverse group of stakeholders.
I'll share my favorite tricks for getting helpful feedback from non-designers, while avoiding the dreaded design by committee. And I'll explain how to avoid some of the pitfalls that can take your project off the rails. Doing creative work with a team is an art, but it's one you can master, and when you do, you'll find that even big groups can produce fantastic outcomes.
