- Most interviewers leave time at the end of the session for you to ask questions. They aren't doing this out of the kindness of their hearts, they actually want to know how interested you are in the company and the job and whether you've been paying attention. So, as you can imagine, it's important that you do have some questions. I'd suggest you start by imagining that you've already been hired and it's your first week on the job. What would you ask as a new hire in order to understand the work you'll be doing? Now, one year later, you're still at the same company, what questions might you have now? Having questions to ask about the role, shows that you're interested and that you can envision yourself in the role.
