- [Instructor] The design stage typically involves moving the information outlined in the planning stage further into reality. Upon completion of the design phase, the website should more or less have taken shape, but for the absence of the content and special features. A wire frame is a visual representation of your project's structure. You get the wire frame from the site map. As you can see, I have a wire frame down below, and the names of the various wire frame pages all align with the pages that we created in our site map. Let's zoom in a little bit so we can look at the wire frame a little bit more closely. The wire frame is going to define the elements that will work in the layout, and the placement of the content for the prototype.
