- [Emily Kay] Hi, and welcome to my Using Adobe XD to Prototype for WordPress course. My name is Emily Kay. I've been designing and developing websites professionally for the past two decades. I will be walking you through the UX and UI steps involved in understanding a website project. We will be using Adobe XD as a tool to create personas, sitemaps, style guides, wire frames, and high fidelity interactive prototypes that you can easily share with your client, other stakeholders and developers. We'll dive right into the necessary tools and actions. My goal is to get you up and running, designing and prototyping quickly. All of our work will be framed by the intention of turning these initial deliverables into a fully functioning WordPress website. So we will be using that lens as we make decisions and lay down our designs. This is a hands on course with a functioning final product that we will be building together. You'll be amazed at how fast you can accomplish many tasks. Knowing the ins and outs and tried and true application enhancements will help you to become faster and more effective at your job. My intention is to help you to become more efficient as a designer, and to fulfill the end requirements of your client.
