- Years ago, a coworker told me that just about every aspect of his personal moral code could be traced back to what he learned from his all-time favorite show "Star Trek." This wasn't a joke, and his sincerity always struck me. He listed a number of life lessons that he had learned from this famous television series. Lessons like reserving judgment until you have the facts, trusting a loyal crew of friends and family for support, valuing diversity as a strength, continual learning and exploration.
