- [Narrator] I have something to admit. I'm like the people who shout at their TV when their favorite team is losing, but instead, I shout at surveys when they ask stupid questions. Just like shouting at the TV, I know it's not going to change anything, but it makes me feel a bit better. You can help people like me manage my blood pressure by making sure your surveys aren't the type I shout at, here's how. First, make sure that the people you're sending your survey to are your true users. A while back, I was sitting on the couch next to my friend Lara while she filled in a survey for a home supplies company. She was answering the questions to the best of her ability. The only problem was, Lara was 12 years old, and her only reason for taking the survey was that it gave her rewards points towards getting that promotional soft toy she wanted from this company.
