How to recruit user research participants
- [Instructor] Recruiting study participants can be time-consuming and disheartening. There are companies who'll ensure that the right number of qualified individuals show up for your study pretty much anywhere in the world. If you can afford to use them, it's absolutely worth it, even though you'll potentially end up paying more for them to find each participant than you'd give out as a gratuity. That cost can still be less than the cost of doing it yourself. But if you don't have the cash to hire a professional recruiter, there are lots of other options. Let's start by saying that generally the more realistic you want your participants to be, the more it's likely to cost you to recruit them.
