How to send out a questionnaire

- We've already said that a survey is the administrative process that surrounds a questionnaire. Let's talk about that process of fielding a survey now. The first thing to mention is, it's possible to just print paper copies of your questions and hand them to people, along with a pen. You might do that with a satisfaction and feedback questionnaire at the end of a training session, or if you're asking public transit riders about their commute by riding along with them on the bus. You can also send paper questionnaires in the mail with a prepaid envelope, and rely on people to return them after they've filled them in. But most often, your respondents won't be in the same place as you. They won't be answering the questions at a set time, and you'll want to benefit from the efficiencies of an electronic survey that presents the questionnaire and collects the answers for you automatically.
