Ideation
- Rather than just building the first solution that comes to mind, design thinking encourages your team to investigate options and build on multiple people's ideas. Combined, those ideas are likely to generate a better overall solution than if any one individual just sat in a room and tried to fix things themselves. Ideation takes many forms, but as with every phase in the design thinking process, it should involve all the different disciplines on your team. Just because people don't traditionally create the specifications for a project doesn't mean they're lacking in ideas. Getting a more rounded insight based on the ideas of the whole team will lead to more creative solutions. This creative part is something that agencies value.
