Know the company and position

- Interviewers are most often looking at your fit with the job, the team, and the company. You can't hope to show that unless you know enough about these things. That means you need to do your research. Let's start with finding out about the company. Often companies have a separate corporate site from their customer facing site. This corporate site is the one you care about. On it, you'll find things like their annual report if they're a large public company. You'll find material aimed at the press. You might also find information on their senior executives, their organizational structure, their different businesses, divisions and locations. The annual report will almost always list the company's overarching goals. What they've achieved recently, and their plans for the future. This information is aimed at shareholders. And although it's partly a marketing document, it's also legally obliged to be somewhat accurate. So…
