Online survey tools
- The term survey refers to the process of asking questions and then gathering and analyzing the responses. The questionnaire itself is the document that contains the questions. So, a survey could be conducted over the phone, where someone reads questions from the questionnaire out to the respondent, it could be conducted through mail, where the respondent fills in the questionnaire and then sends it back for processing, or these days, more frequently, the questionnaire is presented online and the results are gathered and even analyzed automatically. You can always create the survey using a word processor, print it off, and either hand it to, or send it to everyone you need to fill it in. In fact, that's still a viable option if you're conducting surveys around your office, or if you're handing out surveys in a public space.
