Using assets for consistency

- [Narrator] You can use assets in XD to create consistency. The assets are really powerful because they allow you to make significant changes across multiple art boards and allow you work more efficiently. There's all sorts of elements that you can turn into assets. Here we're going to be looking at some image files, the colors and font styles. To turn something into an asset, all you have to do is select that element, so here I have the square that has an orange fill and I'll click the plus sign next to the color asset section and you can see that know I have color of orange. It's easy enough to organize your assets by simply dragging them and rearranging them to an alternate order. I like this because you can place the assets in a more logical fashion. In order to create character styles, you do the same thing, you select the the text that has the character attributes that you want to save as a style and these…
