- [Instructor] For as long as human beings have had writing, we've tracked who owes who money and how much money you have to pay in taxes. Taxes aren't going anywhere and it's likely going to be a complicated mess for a while. I generally recommend that store owners focus on launching their store as fast as possible. And complying with taxes makes that really tricky because you have to be careful with that part of the business. That's why I'm a huge fan of tax services. These services automatically import and update your tax rates. A lot of platforms give you tax rates when you install the platform, but they don't keep them up to date for you. Services like TaxJar, which integrate with WooCommerce and easy digital downloads, automate a lot of the boring tax work and they're tax experts. Their service costs $17 a month, or about $200 a year. For that price, the service is incredible. In addition to managing the tax rates, they can automatically file and pay your taxes for you as well…
