- Whiteboards. The big giant canvas that we have at our disposal for meetings, brainstorms, explanations and complex workflows we're trying to figure out. In this week's episode I'll introduce you to one of my closest designer friends, the whiteboard. We'll look at ways to use it for meetings and how to better leverage the whiteboard to convey ideas with visuals. The whiteboard is a place to facilitate alignment, organize a set of complex ideas and start documenting a new fresh idea. Most offices and rooms are designed with the table as the focal point in the room. Or there may be a shiny display hanging on the wall for everyone to see. This can make it awkward at times to get out of your conference room chair and stand up in front of your team to start writing, drawing and sketching out on the whiteboard for everyone to see.
