A weekly series about professional UX design

- Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a user experience professional in today's world? Or been curious about the approaches they take day in and day out when it comes to solving problems and collaborating with others? The role of a designer is so much more than making the experience look pretty. It's about changing the way people view and experience the world. That's a pretty significant responsibility. The reason I created this series was to share everything I've learned about user experience design from working and practicing with the world's most talented professionals, leaders, and companies. Hi, I'm Drew Bridewell. Over the years I've been lucky enough to work at some of the most amazing companies like Lynda.com, LinkedIn, Envision, and Facebook. I've managed designers, led redesign initiatives, built design systems, brought teams closer together, and have even mastered the mindset of learning new things, wanting more, and creating a happy life around it. I've learned and experienced the tendencies that lead to good, bad, and ugly outcomes and I want to share them with you. In this series, I'll focus on bringing you practical and actionable tips, tricks, and best practices about design, systems, kicking off projects, the tools you can use, and the ins and outs of collaborating within a complex business ecosystem. And, it won't stop there. I'm excited to share what I've learned throughout my journey so join me as I share practical lessons in the world of user experience design.
