- Microsoft also offers an image repository service. The Azure Container Registry allows you to integrate your image storage with and as your active directory and other services that you may already be using. If you don't have an Azure account, you can start a free trial period that will come with a credit that you can use to test out the different services at minimal or no cost. If you're like me, however, and you've used up the trial period in the past or if you already have an active Azure account, adding a container registry for testing purposes is still not an expensive proposition. You can use this Azure pricing calculator to find out what the cost would be. If I search products for container registries, I can choose that, and as I scroll down, I can see the cost per day per unit for a container registry. And if I want to find out what a unit is, I can click on pricing details off to the right, and as of today, that means for about 8.4 cents a day, I have 10 gig of space, a…
