- [Instructor] A couple of videos ago, we mentioned that Landon Hotels is considering reassigning server roles. So we want to be prepared with information about how our servers are running. So let's work on gathering that information over the next week. So far in this chapter we've established that there are a lot of things that you could choose to track in the Performance Monitor, so many in fact that it's highly unlikely that you want to track everything. In this video, we're going to create custom data collector sets to collect what you need when you need it. So over here in the left hand side of the Performance Monitor, there is a section labelled Data Collector Sets. If I click on User Defined, I can see that I haven't created any yet. All of my selections in the last video were for the live chart only. There are a couple of collector sets given to us for starters, but in some cases you'll find that these sets gather a lot more information than you're likely to look at, possibly…
