- [Instructor] One of the more common problems that we'll have in our networks has to do with DNS name resolution. And when we go to try to find out what the problem is, more often than not, we find that it has to do with an improper DNS client configuration. Now, one thing I want you to keep in mind is when I say DNS client configuration, you need to know that pretty much every node on your network is a DNS client. Okay, so not just the literal workstation client computers on your network, but your servers and other networking devices as well. So let's go in and take a look at some of the basics on how we can set up this configuration in any Windows operating system. So to demonstrate this, I am going to jump to an actual Windows 10 client. I'm going to go into Client-1. Here on Client-1 I am going to click the Start button, and then I'm going to just start typing in the word network.
