DNS resource record types

- [Teacher] Resource records specify a resource type and an IP address to then locate the resource. And in some cases, you have to use multiple resource records to accomplish this. Now the most common resource records, just to give you an idea of what we're talking about, would be something called an A record or a host record, which is a record that simply resolves a host name to an IP address. We're looking for a computer with a certain name, it resolves us to an IP address. But there are a number of different records that you should be familiar with, so I'd like to show them to you now. To do this, I need to connect to a computer that has DNS installed, so I'm going to choose Member 1, which is authoritative for a fictional namespace that I already created as well as, it gives us the ability to look at the landonhotel.local namespace.
