Enable Hyper-V Containers
you can enable what they call Hyper-V containers. So there are two different ways to run containers in Windows Server. The first one being process isolation, and that's what we've been doing by running Windows Server Core and IIS inside Windows Server 2019 as a container. And that's the traditional method of running containers However, you can still do it with the same commands that you do to run any other container with process isolation. At this point in the release of Windows Server 2019, with it being relatively new still, there aren't a lot of great resources when it comes to how to enable Hyper-V containers, how to run Windows containers that don't match your host operating system, and how to run Linux containers inside Windows Server 2019. All of it is possible, but the exact configuration on how to do it isn't very well documented by Microsoft or Docker, nor are there any very good up-to-date blog posts out there or free content that helps you.
