ISCSI target and initiator
to use a Windows 2019 server to be used as storage for another Windows server. This can save companies a lot of money by no longer having to purchase an expensive, dedicated storage device. It's easy to set up and use in just a few minutes. We see here, Windows Explorer, and we see our C drive along with a couple other drives So how do we do that? We need to install the iSCSI target on the other server and then turn the iSCSI initiator on on this one. So let's switch to our other server. We went from Server One to Server Two and now we're going to go to the Add Roles and Features wizard. We'll click Next. Now we'll expand the file and storage services until we see the iSCSI target server. We'll go ahead and click Next. And continue until we can install. Once the installation is completed, we'll go back to our file and storage services in server manager and we'll see a new option to create an iSCSI target. Our installation's complete. We'll go ahead and close. And now we'll go to file…
