- [Instructor] In active directory domain services, the organizational unit container object may be your all-time best friend, and the reason why is because without these container objects; well, then your active directory domain services environment would probably be quite complicated, confusing, and in some cases, next to impossible to administrate. So to demonstrate organizational units, I want to jump over to one of our domain controllers, DC1. Here in the server manager on DC1, let's go up to the tools menu and select active directory, users and computers. Now you may have already seen in other videos where I created organizational unit objects to help demonstrate other functions that I was trying to go through with you. Okay, so if I expand my Landon Hotel domain, you'll see here that I have an organizational unit called customer service that I created as part of emulating a customer service department in our environment.
