Managing DNS

- [Instructor] One of the nice things about DNS is that once you have it installed and configured, there's not a lot of management and maintenance that you have to go through. Management pretty much comes down to being ready when there's a problem, all right, but there are just a few things that I'd like to show you in the management of DNS so that you would be ready when that problem occurs. To demonstrate this, I need to go to one of our DNS servers. So I'm going to jump into DC 1, which is both a domain controller and a DNS server for our domain. Here in the Server Manager on DC 1, I will go up to the Tools menu in the upper right-hand corner and then select DNS. This will take us into the DNS Manager. Here you can see that we are managing DC 1. If I expand that, we have our Forward Lookup Zones including landonhotel.local, our domain.
